Comparison of narrowband UV-B with psoralen-UV-A phototherapy for patients with early-stage mycosis fungoides: A systematic review and meta-analysis Phan K, et al. JAMA Dermatology. 2019. Phan K, et al. compiled 7 studies in order to compare the efficacy of psoralen-UV-A and narrowband UV-B phototherapy. Overall, there were no significant differences between the two in terms of adverse effects and response rates were similar. “The findings suggest that narrowband UV-B is a viable and safe alternative to psoralen-UV-A for treatment of early-stage mycosis fungoides.”
