UVB LiteSpot, UVB LiteBrush
By eliminating the 290-300 component of UVB and by targeting only affected skin, the Levia delivers stronger doses to psoriatic plaques. Clearance can be achieved in as few as 10 treatments for psoriasis patients. The LiteSpot focuses a 3 cm beam of UVB on affected skin in small squares that can be “tiled” next to each other until the treatment area is covered. This minimizes exposure of healthy skin. LiteBrush “bristles” deliver UVB light right to the scalp, completely
bypassing the hair.
The elegant design ensures the Levia fits easily in the office environment. The Levia consists of a console and an ergonomic handpiece, about the size of a hair dryer, and takes up very minimal counter space.
